ABOUT US
The Directorate of Academic Planning was established in the year 2011 as one of the pioneer Directorate when the University was created. Since inception, the directorate has been providing focus, direction and purpose for the academic advancement of the university in-line with the National Universities Commission (NUC) Benchmark.
The Directorate is an arm of the Vice Chancellor’s Office and it is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day management of academic planning function of the university.
Mission
The mission of the Academic Planning Directorate is to establish an integrated planning mechanism for the accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the University and to instill planning consciousness at all levels in the University so that their activities will be directed towards achieving stated goals/objectives in-line with National University Commission (NUC) Benchmark.
Vision
The vision of the Academic Planning Unit is to consciously and systematically enshrine the concept of functional and effective planning into all facets of the University. This involves planning with the plans of various segments of the University in order to accomplish the overall vision, mission and objectives of the University
